One driver sent to hospital after three-car crash in Longmont Sunday


A 39-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he was involved in a three-car accident Sunday morning, said Robin Ericson, a Longmont Public Safety spokeswoman.

The man was driving a blue Chevrolet Equinox that was in an accident that involved the Equinox, a gray Dodge Ram truck and a black Honda CRV near East Ken Pratt Boulevard and Sandstone Drive.

Longmont police issued the man a summons for careless driving, failure to present proof of insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a driver’s license.
