The Orland Art Center Gallery’s theme for the next three months is “The Growing Season,” featuring artists Carol Avellino, Weston Schoon, Cheryl Caldwell and Beth Bjorklund.
The exhibit highlights a wide range of artistic styles and subjects using a variety of mediums, including oils, acrylics, photography and oil pastels.
Avellino, Schoon, Caldwell and Bjorklund will fill the gallery with very different versions of this season of soul searching, sunshine and long lazy days, when living things still grow and thrive before the chill of Fall.
An Artists’ Reception is scheduled for Friday, July 4 from 3-7 p.m., where guests can visit with the artists and enjoy live music played on a baby grand piano.
“The Growing Season” show will run July 4 through Sept. 20.
The Orland Art Center Show and Sale always features original art, quality prints and Fine Art cards available at a wide price range.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday 12-5 p.m., 732 Fourth St., Orland. For more information go online to www.orlandartcenter.com.
