Oxfam polling shows fashion supply chain concerns


MELBOURNE – Oxfam Australia has urged clothing brands and retailers to improve their sourcing practices after its latest research found that shoppers want businesses to do more to ensure of the safety and living standards of overseas garment workers.

Naming brands such as Uniqlo, Jeans West and Best & Less, Oxfam said the new polling showed that consumers don’t trust claims about the treatment of overseas garment workers in fashion industry supply chains.
