Packers running back AJ Dillon sure loves the cold and he showed it again when he was shirtless in his post-game interview

With temps around the freezing mark and snow hitting Green Bay earlier in the day, winter had arrived in time for the Packers-Chiefs “Sunday Night Football” showdown.

Taylor Swift was dressed appropriately when she touched down shortly before the game, as she sported a red teddy coat that showed besides being a pop megastar she’s also a fashionista and trend setter.

What’s AJ Dillon’s sense of fashion?

His bare body.

The Packers’ bruising running back showed up to a post-game interview after the Packers upset the Chiefs, 27-19, with NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” crew shirtless.

That’s right. No shirt. No pads. No jacket. Not hat. Nothing.

“This is football weather,” Dillon said in an interview that aired on Peacock with Jac Collinsworth, Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison. “This is Green Bay Packer weather. No better place to play ‘Sunday Night Football’ against the defending champs and go ahead and get the dub.”

Of course, this is Dillon’s kind of weather. Remember, when he arrived to Lambeau for the team’s penultimate game two seasons ago in early January 2022 with only overalls on as wind chills were around 0 degrees? That was also a Sunday night game and he actually chatted with the same folks after that victory with barely anything on.

He referenced the two events with side-by-side frames on social media.

“The cold never bothered me anyway,” Dillon wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Monday.

The 25-year-old running back, who played at Boston College or as he told everyone on SNF “Quad Squad University” and makes his home in northeast Wisconsin with his wife Gabrielle and son Trey, gets more comfortable when the thermometer takes a tumble.

Dillon showed that comfort on the field Sunday as the lead back. He rushed seven times on the team’s opening touchdown drive and posted more yards (30) on the possession than he did in four total games this season.

AJ Dillon makes a victory lap after he helped the Packers defeat the Chiefs, 27-19, on Sunday night at Lambeau Field.

For the game, Dillon ran hard and with authority as he rushed for 73 yards on 18 carries, the second highest of his season in both categories.

Dillon said the team’s success — Green Bay has now won three straight games to improve to 6-6 — starts with the Packers’ first-year quarterback Jordan Love.

“He’s a leader of men. He’s even-keeled,” said Dillon, who showed his public support of Love on several occasions heading into the season. “That all starts with QB 1. I got nothing but love for J Love. He’s doing a great job.”

So has Dillon.

With Aaron Jones missing time with an injury, Dillon will continue to be relied on as the Packers look to make a playoff push.

And if the games are in the cold down the stretch, all the better for Dillon.
