Paddy and Christine McGuinness Unite for Kids

Paddy and Christine McGuinness put aside their disagreements about how to raise their children so they could watch their kids’ game together on Friday.

A year ago, they said they were breaking up. The Top Gear star, who is 49, and his wife, Christine, who is 35, have three children: Penelope, 9, and twins Felicity and Leo, 7.

Christine posted a bunch of photos from the event on her Instagram to show how much fun it was.

She wrote in the photo captions, “Proudest mummy at Sports day. Not only did my fabulous trio take part, they actually enjoyed it!”

She wrote a sweet message at the end of the post: “Leo, Penelope, Felicity. Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and loved more than you will ever know’ followed by a world emoji.”

Paddy also used the same place to post on his social media.

Christine and Paddy said they were splitting up in June of last year, but they have stayed together to raise their three autistic children.

Christine has said about her strange living situation with her ex-husband Paddy, “I don’t know life without him.”

The couple said they still live together with their children to keep them safe.

Christine talked to OK! magazine about the relationship and said she didn’t know how long it would last.

She said, “It’s certainly not a long-term or forever plan.”

“It’s much like any parent really – juggling jobs and children. We definitely don’t want to upset them or change anything too quickly, and for me as well.”
