Two people became trapped in a car after the vehicle crashed on a road in Cornwall, police have said.

Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on the A389 at Sladesbridge at about 11:45 BST.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: “The car ended up on its side, trapping two occupants.”

The force said fire and ambulance crews attended and both “occupants were extracted” from the vehicle unharmed.
