From Alessandro Michele’s debut with Valentino to shows by Chemena Kamali at Chloé, Seán McGirr at Alexander McQueen, Pelagia Kolotouros at Lacoste, and Gabriela Hearst, the event has so much more than ever. With a talented lineup of designers as they gear up to showcase their collection, here’s what to expect from the season.
Details About Paris Fashion Week
The Spring/Summer 2025 women’s calendar will commence on Monday, September 23, and run until Tuesday, October 1, 2024. It will feature 70 shows and 38 presentations, including heavyweights like Dior, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Chanel, Loewe, Hermès, and Louis Vuitton, among others. Some medium-sized brands like Rick Owens, Rabanne, Isabel Marant, Victoria Beckham, and Acne Studios also join the flurry of emerging names.
It is pertinent to note that eyes have been set for Michele’s debut runway show for Valentino, which is slated for September 29. “Even though we saw a pre-collection, it will be the first time his vision for Valentino comes to life. It’s all the more exciting because it’s the only major debut show this season,” said Alix Morabito, buying and merchandising director for womenswear at Galeries Lafayette, as quoted by Vogue.
