The Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism is taking applications for its Individual Artist Fellowship program. The program is awarding up to $5,000 to 18 different creatives.

The grant, through the Arkansas Arts Council, is made possible in partnership with Arkansas Heritage and the Windgate Foundation. The program is awarded to three creatives in six rotating categories annually. This year’s categories include docu-genre, multisensory art, contemporary craft in ceramics and/or glass, novel or memoir writing, community engagement and high fashion or costume.

The grants are made directly to individual creatives residing and working in Arkansas. A project has to be completed, not proposed, to qualify for a grant.

The deadline to apply for the grant is Feb. 5. Click here for more information or to apply.
