BERTHOLD, NORTH DAKOTA—The 26-year-old passenger of a car that crashed into a tree late Saturday, Nov. 18, in Berthold, North Dakota, has died.
The crash occurred at 10:08 p.m, North Dakota Highway Patrol said in a release. The driver of a 2001 Dodge Viper, Alexander Swarm, 29, Berthold, was traveling south at a high rate of speed down Tyler Street. The Viper ran off the roadway and struck a tree at 411 Tyler St.
The passenger, a resident of the Minot Air Force Base, has not yet been named pending notification of family. Swarm was charged with driving under the influence.
The crash remains under investigation.
