Pedro Pascal Becomes a Three-Time Emmy Nominee

In the blink of an eye, Pedro Pascal went from never having been nominated for an Emmy to being nominated three times.

Pascal has been nominated three times for three different shows in 2023.

The 48-year-old actor was first nominated for an Emmy for his part in The Last of Us, which put him in the running for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Bella Ramsey, who was also nominated in the same category for Lead Actress, is one of the other people in the TV show.

Pascal, however, was nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. This year, he is the only host of Saturday Night Live (SNL) to be named in this category.

The actor from Narcos got his third mention for narrating Patagonia: Life on the Edge of the World, a documentary series on CNN. The show shows how different South America’s scenery is.

His documentary series is up against Good Night, Oppy by Angela Bassett, Working: What We Do All Day by Barack Obama, Our Universe by Morgan Freeman, and Chimp Empire by Mahershala Ali.

Entertainment Weekly says that this year’s big Emmy Awards will happen on September 18.
