Indiana basketball improved to 3-0 overall with an 89-80 win over Wright State on Thursday night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers pulled away from the Raiders early, but the visitors refused to go down easy, making 11 three-pointers and limiting IU to 3-of-16 shooting from the perimeter. Four Indiana starters scored in double figures, including Kel’el Ware’s career-high 22 points and 12 rebounds and Malik Reneau’s 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Trey Galloway added 15 points and six assists, while Mackenzie Mgbako had 13 points and five rebounds.
