Peoria Arts, Culture and Library looking for volunteers

Peoria’s Arts, Culture and Library Services Department is looking for community volunteer members to serve as grant review panelists for the upcoming grants cycle. If any residents have a passion for arts and culture, the city is asking them apply and help review grant applications in three categories, arts projects, community events and HOAs.

Individuals with a background in education, the arts, or community events are encouraged to apply as panelists. Ideal candidates will help enhance the quality of life for all through arts and culture programming. The panel will meet to evaluate applications and make recommendations to the Peoria Arts and Culture Commission.

Volunteer grant panelist should be free on the following dates:

• April 4: Volunteer panelist application deadline

• April 10: Panelists notified of selection
