Pete Davidson on This Depression Treatment Medicine

Pete Davidson is getting high! But to make health better.

Page Six has heard that the popular comedian recently told the crowd at Madison Square Garden, where he opened for Dave Chappelle on Saturday night, that he had used ketamine.

When we talked to a friend of the former Saturday Night Live star, they told us that Davidson had been using the drug often, not just once in a while.

In 2019, the FDA approved the long-used party drug for use as a nasal spray, which is how Davidson is said to be using it. It is becoming more and more famous as a way to treat people with severe depression who haven’t gotten better with other drugs.

Davidson has been very honest about his mental health problems and the medications he takes. He seems eager to try the new therapy.

“I’m always depressed, all the time. I have to constantly bring myself out of it. I wake up depressed,” he told Charlamagne tha God in a YouTube conversation from last year.

He said, “My rock bottom is when people are scared for my life and I have to go away, and then I have to bring myself back up again. I think I’ve hit it a few times.”

The drug is well-known for its use in animal treatment, but it has also been used to put people to sleep during surgery. People in the field think that using it as an antidepressant is a big step forward.

No proof has shown that Davidson’s recent stay in rehab was related to drug use. He was said to have suffered from unstable personality disorder and PTSD.

The actor from “Bupkis” is starting a tour right now. Last week, he said that his first show will be at Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut on September 5.

On a few of the dates, he will be joined by his friends Jon Stewart and John Mulaney. In other Pete news, it looks like he’s broken up with Chase Sui Wonders.
