Pete Davidson’s Mental Health Issues Prompt Rehabilitation

It’s been found that Pete Davidson, who used to be on Saturday Night Live, is in rehab.

A source with knowledge of the situation said that the 29-year-old comedian has been actively seeking “professional treatment” to deal with his mental health problems. This is an ongoing process for him, the source said.

Page Six first reported the news, citing a source who said that Davidson had checked into a facility because he has borderline personality disorder (BPD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

An insider said, “Pete regularly goes to rehab for ‘tune-ups’ and to take a mental break, so that’s what’s happening.”

A close friend of Davidson said, “Anyone who knows Pete knows that he will always step up and get help when he knows he needs it.”

People magazine also got confirmation from another source: “Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues… his friends and family have been supportive during this time.”

The Bupkis star has been open about his problems with mental health for a number of years, and in 2017 he was given a diagnosis of BPD.
