Phoebe Bridgers and Boygenius Perform with Taylor Swift During Her Nashville Concert

At last Friday’s Eras Tour event in Nashville, Swift surprised fans of the Indie supergroup boygenius.

During Phoebe Bridgers’ set on the first night, her Boygenius bandmates Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus joined her on stage to play “Not Strong Enough.”

Bridgers also sang “Graceland Too” with Baker, and at the end of her set, the whole band played “I Know the End.”

Swift, who likes the bands Bridgers and boygenius, talked about how excited she was about the new songs on her next re-recorded album during the show.

During a stretch of Swift’s Eras Tour shows, Bridgers is opening for her, and this summer, the three of them will tour the country as part of the Re:SET concert series.

Phoebe Bridgers admitted in 2022 that she had been a Swiftie since she was a teenager and a “failed guitar teacher.”

Bridgers told Charli XCX’s Best Song Ever show that she first heard of Taylor Swift when a student asked to learn one of her songs. Since then, Bridgers has been a Taylor fan.

“It’s high art,” she said about Swift’s work. “She’s like the king of her craft. She’s just a perfect example of someone who uses all the resources at her disposal to be completely genuine.”
