There are two sides to every story with Mike Piggott’s new show. In “Doubles,” the local artist has found that two is better than one, and that there is freedom in two versions of the same painting.

“Distinct yet intrinsically connected” reads the show’s introduction, with Piggott approaching each painting “with a playful openness, embracing the idea that even the smallest shift in one painting can unfold differently in the next.”
