Pneumonia Forces Enrique Iglesias to Leave the Tecate Emblema Festival

Enrique Iglesias pulled out of the Tecate Emblema music event in Mexico City because he had pneumonia, and his doctors told him to rest.

In a post on his social media accounts, Iglesias talked about how sad he was that the show had to be canceled.

The Bailamos musician wrote to his fans, “Dear fans, much to my regret, it’ll be impossible for me to appear at the show tonight in México. I have pneumonia, and doctors have advised absolute rest and have forbidden me to get on an airplane.”

In Iglesias’s place, a group of artists, including Danna Paola and people from the “90’s Pop Tour” group, will perform.

The rest of the lineup has not changed, including the first night’s headliners, The Chainsmokers, and the second day’s headliners, Robbie Williams and KYGO.

One Republic, Niki, Pabllo Vittar, Melanie C, Belinda, The Driver Era and Alizzz, Bizarrap, Camilo, Black Eyed Peas, Becky G, Emilia, Lasso, Roisin Murphy, and Moenia will also perform at the event.
