ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Police are investigating after a woman was found shot to death multiple times inside a car Friday morning.

Near 7:30 a.m., officers were called to the 8400 block of Mall Parkway in Stonecrest. They found the car the woman was driving, which had left the road and hit a light pole and power box in front of a Walmart.

A witness told police that a man ran from the car after the crash.
