MIAMI – Miami police are investigating a possible disturbance at a home early Thursday morning that ended with a woman crashing her car into a building, authorities said.

According to Miami police Officer Kiara Delva, a spokeswoman for the police department, officers responded to a home in the area of Northwest 34th Avenue and Ninth Street just after 3 a.m. regarding a possible disturbance between a man and a woman.

Delva said the man left the area on foot prior to officers arriving while cutting his wrist.

She said the woman got in her car and followed him as police were arriving, but she ultimately crashed into a building in the area of Northwest 34th Avenue and Seventh Street.

The woman sustained minor injuries in the crash and the man was nowhere to be found, Delva said.

No other details were immediately released.
