In July, the K-pop group BTS will come out with their own book. In the past few days, there had been talk that either BTS or the American singer Taylor Swift would write a book.

The rumors spread quickly when U.S. stores heard that a mystery book with a first print run of 1 million copies was about to come out. The book ended up on the best-seller lists at Barnes&Noble and Amazon because of all the talk about it.

On May 11, Flatiron Books announced that the K-pop group BTS will release a book on June 9 in both Korea and the United States. This put an end to the rumors.

The members worked with writer Kang Myeongseok to make Beyond The Story: 10-Year Record of BTS, an oral group history.

The New York Times said that the version of the book that will be sold in the United States will have about 500 pages and will have photos that will not be found in other versions. Anton Hur, Clare Richards, and Slin Jung are said to have translated it into English.
