A popular Belfast Cuban restaurant has revealed it is set to open another branch at a new location in the city.

The Cuban Sandwich Factory, which runs its flagship restaurant on Botanic Avenue and a stall at St George’s Market on Saturday’s, will open a new location on Callender Street in the city centre.

Offering classic Cuban sandwiches with a variety of fillings including slow roast pork shoulder, jerk chicken and beef mince, the restaurant said their new location will offer “an authentic Cuban Sandwich in with a Cuban atmosphere”.

On social media the business shared an image of the renovation work taking place in the new location.

“If you are looking to have an authentic Cuban Sandwich in with a Cuban atmosphere then we are the real deal. Visit us at 6 Callender Street Belfast BT1 5BN and 93 Botanic Avenue BT7 1JN. Also we still have our old stall St George’s Market, Belfast every Saturday,” they wrote.

The businesses new location will mean Cuban Sandwich Factory will join the food offering alongside a number of nearby eateries, including Tribal Burger and Subway on Callender Street.
