IPSWICH — Paintings by Newburyport artist Steve Carr will be on exhibit at the Hall-Haskell House Gallery in Ipswich from June 3 to 8. His paintings which have meticulous detail, are mostly created with oil paints. He specializes in sea and landscape paintings.

Carr is a member of the Newburyport Art Association, the Seacoast Artist Association and the American Association of Marine Artists. His work has been shown at the Ipswich River Watershed Association, the Essex County Greenbelt’s Art in the Barn Show, various NAA and SAA shows, the Exeter Inn, the Cambridge Boat Club, the Boothbay Region Art Foundation (Boothbay, Maine), All Saint’s Parish Hall (Brookline), and the Lamont Gallery at Phillips Exeter Academy.
