
PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland radio station 104.1 The Fish has gone to all Christmas music starting October 31.
“We wanted to get a head start on our favorite time of the year and with all going on in the world right now, we wanted to extend the spirit of Christmas with comfort and joy for all who would like to listen,” Chris Kelly, Program Director of 104.1 said.
The contemporary Christian formatted station regularly breaks format to play all Christmas music during the holiday season.
“Merry Christmas from The Fish!” Kelly added.
K-103 also breaks the format during the holiday season.
The iHeart Radio station has been one of the most listened-to Christmas music stations in the country according to Nielsen ratings over the last few years.
As of this post, K-103 has not gone all Christmas.
