Central opener a big early lead, out-scoring the Red Knights 20-4 in the opening quarter and stayed in front from there.
Toronto was led by 11 from Kam Baker and 10 from Michael Henry.
Edison boys open their season with a victory
RICHMOND — The Edison boys basketball team kicked off its season with a win against Conotton Valley by a score of 49-39 on Friday night.
JD Henderson led the Cats with 22 points, Bryce Rogers followed with nine and Jackson McBane had six. The Wildcats return to action on Tuesday at Catholic Central.

WELLSBURG — The Weir High bowling team defeated the Brooke Bruins at Brooke Lanes on Friday afternoon, 2205-1703.
Leading the way were seniors Shane Arnold with 248 game and 462 series followed by Jackson Parsons with a 246 game and 436 series.
For Brooke, Darin Hilton led the way with a 182 and a 306.
