TYLER, Texas — Pleasant Grove’s junior varsity tennis program kicked off their spring season in a tournament hosted by Tyler Legacy.

The tournament featured 25 teams, with more than 460 players competing.

“This was a monster tournament for our JV tennis Hawks to showcase their skills against some of the top teams in East Texas,” Pleasant Grove tennis coach Erik Pickett said. “It was a beautiful day for tennis and fun to see the excitement in all of our players stepping on the courts.”

Pleasant Grove will be back in action on Friday at the Frozenball tournament in Rockwall, Texas.
