Price Leblanc family to give $100K for food, match donations made to Baton Rouge food bank

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank has received a $100,000 financial gift from the Price LeBlanc Family.

According to a Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank release, the Price Leblanc Family donated the money to help feed families during the holiday season.

The family also committed to matching all donations up to $100,000 during Giving Tuesday on Tuesday, Nov. 28. The food bank’s event, Feeding Tuesday, will extend to Friday, Dec. 15, as a part of getting the community involved.

“We truly appreciate the Price LeBlanc Family for supporting our mission through this generous match campaign donation that will help us double the impact of financial gifts during the holidays,” said Mike Manning, president and CEO of the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. “The holidays are all about being able to sit down with family and friends and give thanks over a holiday meal. Many more families here in our community will be able to do that this year because of this matching gift opportunity.”

Price Leblanc dealerships will host food and fund drives to help with the giving event.

“The Price LeBlanc Family is proud to partner with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank this holiday season,” said the Price LeBlanc Family. “Our family and our family of dealerships have been built upon the foundation of giving back and a continuous commitment to being a positive role model in our community and are therefore honored to extend support in fostering a happier holiday season!”
