Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Warned of Major Divide Between Them and Royal Family

A royal expert says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could deal the royal family a “irreversible blow” if they don’t go to the coronation of King Charles III.

If the Duke and Duchess of Sussex miss the monarch’s coronation in May, it could cause a big rift between them and the palace.

Despite being invited, Meghan and Harry have not confirmed that they will attend the coronation. A report says that top members of the royal family will give the couple the “cold shoulder” if they go.

A royal expert has warned that missing the historic party, which happens to be on the same day as Prince Archie’s 4th birthday, could cause a “fatal” split with the Firm.

“In a universe where the damage already done by the rift can still be fixed, at least in part, a no-show would be the fatal, irreversible blow, both in terms of how the public sees the family and, possibly, how the family sees itself,” said Edward Coram-James, a public relations expert.

He also said, “It risks keeping the conflict going for a long time.”

It “would get as much or even more attention from the media.” It would make the rift and accusations that the Sussexes have made against the royal family worse, he told the outlet.

Coram-James went on, “And their absence would cast a big shadow over the whole ceremony. It could become the elephant in the room and an unwelcome sideshow.”

Meghan and Harry are said to have made a list of demands for the big day. One of them is that their two young children be included in the celebrations. But it doesn’t look like King Charles, Prince William, or any of the other royals will give in to the Sussexes.
