Meghan Markle’s magic appears to be working on Prince Harry, who is willing to take significant risks to make her happy.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who broke the news on Wednesday after shocking the world with their controversial Sussex branding, hit the ski slopes.
Harry was all grins and no tears in his eyes, which appeared to contradict his own words in his book Spare.
Harry stated in his memoir, “I loved skiing and I was good at it. But once Mummy was in my thoughts, I was buried under my own private avalanche of emotions. And questions.”
Harry said that when he went skiing with his father, King Charles, he was overcome with sadness since he had to leave behind his mother, Princess Diana. He apparently felt like a “bad son” for loving ski vacations, which the late Princess of Wales “despised”.
Prince William’s younger brother was similarly moved to tears during a ski trip with his ex-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, whom he dated from 2012 to 2014. The Duke of Sussex stated that skiing was “sacred” to them during their romance.
Harry, who showed no signs of worry or tears in his eyes during his latest stunt with Meghan, then described the “miraculous” moment she managed to get him to open up about Princess Diana, revealing: “Suddenly she asked about my mother. I answered her, straight-out, and then started to cry.”
The Invictus Games Foundation’s social media sites also revealed joyous moments of Harry and Meghan while on a trip to Canada, when the couple came to attend the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.
Meghan and Harry are in Canada for a three-day visit (February 14-16) for the “Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025’s One Year to Go” celebrations, where they started dating in 2016 when Meghan was filming Suits.
