Prince William is scheduled to attend the upcoming BAFTA Awards later this week.
Kensington Palace announced the Prince of Wales’ planned appearance in an official statement on Friday, with the ceremony scheduled for Sunday, February 18, at the Royal Festival Hall, according to People.
“The Prince, President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) will watch the Awards ceremony before meeting category winners and EE Rising Star Award nominees,” according to the press release.
The release made no mention of William’s wife Kate Middleton, raising the possibility that she will miss the celebration while recovering from stomach surgery.
Last year, the royal couple debuted at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, looking as glamorous as ever.
The mother of three wore a white one-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown, accessorised with long black gloves and gold jewellery.
Meanwhile, the future King looked handsome in a double-breasted velvet jacket over a white shirt and bow tie, worn with black trousers.
