There’s nothing like the threat of fall-like weather to send me into the kitchen to cook up something warm. Because I am fully capable of ignoring the fact that it was darn close to 90 degrees the other day, I was able to insist it was time for us to learn how to make chili.
Chili recipes are not common in our family. We’ve always been a “where’s the can opener” chili family. We have watched with detached amusement at the bean vs no bean debates. Our answer has always been, “Are there beans? I didn’t notice.”
