Putintseva fights back against Naklo to book spot in second round


Kazakh Yulia Putintseva, the No 7 seed, reached the second round of the Thailand Open by winning against Thai wildcard Thasaporn Naklo 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 at the True Arena Hua Hin.

Putintseva, ranked No 70, will face Swiss Viktorija Golubic next.
