A popular chicken-finger chain is opening a second Pittsburgh-area location this week.
Louisiana-based Raising Cane’s is opening a new location in North Versailles on Tuesday, according to a press release.
The restaurant is located at 298 Lincoln Hwy. in the Mon Valley suburb and will become the second Raising Cane’s location opened in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
“We’ve been so warmly welcomed by the ‘burgh at our West Oakland location, we couldn’t wait to open in North Versailles!” said Raising Cane’s regional vice president Jen Szewc. “We can’t wait to serve our yinzer neighbors the most craveable chicken around!”
The first Raising Cane’s opened in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood in October. A third location is planned for South Fayette sometime in the first quarter of 2024.
The North Versailles location will feature a double drive-thru, a large dining room with floor-to-ceiling glass walls featuring local art and memorabilia, and a covered patio outside.
The restaurant is known for its cravable chicken fingers, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and Texas toast. Raising Cane’s has more than 760 restaurants located across over 35 states, as well as in the Middle East and Guam.
For Tuesday’s grand opening, the North Versailles location is giving the first 100 customers in line to purchase a Box Combo a commemorative T-shirt, as well as a card for a free Box Combo valid on their next visit. A drawing will also be held between 7:30-8:30 a.m. to award 20 customers, ages 13 and older, “Free Cane’s for a Year!” prize.
The restaurant is also donating $1,500 to East Allegheny Junior and Senior High School Athletics.
Raising Cane’s location in North Versailles will be open Sunday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 12 midnight, and Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
