CM Punk made his return to WWE at the Survivor Series and then cut a promo on the latest episode of RAW. 

He did not mention his departure from AEW, which left many fans surprised. 

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Punk signed an NDA not to talk about anyone from AEW, such as Adam Page, The Young Bucks, and Jack Perry.

“For those wondering or disappointed that Punk said nothing about AEW, it’s because both he and others have signed several NDA’s regarding talking publicly about the other,” Meltzer wrote.
