REEDLEY, Calif. (FOX26) — Reedley College is unveiling its new performing arts center for its students and faculty.
This proud occasion will be held with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the McClarty Center for Fine and Performing Arts, along with tours following the event.
This new facility is located at Reedley Community College on North Reed Ave. and Manning.
The college was founded in 1926, offering vocal, theatrical, and instrumental music performances for students and the public.
However, the lack of dedicated theater facilities has contributed to the decline of several programs.
This proposed facility will meet modern-day curriculum demands and serve as a visual showcase of student and community work.
Says Reedley College President, Dr. Jerry Buckley.
A special thank you to our donors for helping make our dream of a state-of-the-art performing arts building a reality!
