Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth are officially getting a divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” It won’t be hard to figure out how to split up their assets.

TMZ got court documents that say Reese ended her 12-year marriage to Toth in Nashville, Tennessee, where they were raising their 10-year-old child.

A prenuptial agreement was signed by Reese and Jim in March 2011, according to court documents. She also says that the agreement is still valid and covers their assets and debts “adequately and sufficiently.”

The actress says that she will give the judge the prenup and a long-term plan for how to care for their child.

As a side note, Reese and James will have to take a parenting class because their divorce involves a child. This is a requirement in Davidson County. They have 60 days to show the court that they have finished.

Last week, Reese announced on Instagram that she and her actor/producer husband were getting a divorce. She said that they had thought long and hard about the hard decision to get a divorce. She also talked about how much they loved and respected each other before saying that their son was their top priority.

This was Reese’s second wedding. From 1999 to 2008, she was married to Ryan Phillippe.
