After being married to Jim Toth for 12 years, Reese Witherspoon split up with him last year. This year has been hard for her.

But a source says that the Sweet Home Alabama star has her family and friends around her to help her through this hard time.

“It’s been a difficult year for her. But leaning on her kids is helping,” a person close to Reese told Life & Style.

According to an insider, the Wild actress’s daughter Ava Phillippe and her boys Deacon Phillippe and Tennessee Toth are there to give her moral and emotional support.

US Weekly said that the actress and Jim came to an agreement about their split earlier this month. The agreement said that neither of them would pay child or spousal support.

In the August 2023 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Reese talked about what she’s been going through in an interview.

The Legally Blonde actress said, “To be able to talk to people directly about what’s going on in my life and just share it in the way that I share great professional experiences or personal experiences, it feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not let somebody else control what’s happening.”

“Then, of course, there’s speculation, but I can’t control that. All I can do is be my most honest, forthright self and be vulnerable,” she said.
