MAUI, Hawaii (Island News) — The Maui Arts and Cultural Center’s summer visual arts program, Young Artmakers, returns to the Schaefer International Gallery.
Led by teaching artists and gallery staff, the program offers four sessions starting July 15 for kids ages 5-17 to enhance creativity and make friends.
Each session includes four consecutive classes (Tuesday-Friday) and a guided tour of the MACC Biennial 2025 exhibition.
- Session 1 (ages 5-7): Myths, Monsters, and Mystical Creatures (July 15-18, 10 am-12 pm)
- Session 2 (ages 8-12): Layered Linocut (July 15-18, 1-3 pm)
- Session 3 (ages 5-7): Print in Style! (July 22-25, 10 am-12 pm)
- Session 4 (ages 13-17): Fantastic Fiber Art (July 22-25, 1-4 pm)
