Rep. Good travels to NYC to be in Trump courtroom

NEW YORK, NY (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Fighting for his political life after endorsing Ron DeSantis last year over Donald Trump for the Republican Presidential nomination, 5th District Congressman Bob Good was among a number of Representatives in the courtroom Thursday for Trump during the former President’s hush money trial in New York. A public courtroom is likely the only venue he can physically show up for Trump after being kicked out the grand opening of a Trump memorabilia store in Farmville earlier this year.

Good changed his endorsement to Trump after DeSantis dropped out of the race in January, but state Senator John McGuire’s primary challenge as a Trump loyalist has gained traction on the incumbent. McGuire has been to Trump rallies, posing in a picture next to him, while Trump’s senior campaign advisor Chris LaCivita — who is a long-time Virginia Republican operative — has pledged to make Good “unelectable”.
