DAYTON — Rescue boats have been dispatched after a vehicle went into the water in Dayton early Wednesday morning.

Water rescue teams and firefighters were dispatched around 2:53 a.m. to Lakeview Avenue and Lakeside Drive on initial reports of a vehicle into the water.

News Center 7 has a crew at the scene and images show there is a car in the water.

Our Taylor Robertson is reporting water rescue teams from Dayton and Wright Patterson Air Force Base have arrived at the scene.

Dispatchers tell News Center 7 that they have water rescue teams on the scene, but could not provide any other information.
