Roast Irish sirloin at The Nines

The former Salty Dog in Bangor had all the seaside charm to make your day trip complete. Very decent food, young, competent servers and reasonable prices made it popular and its clientele loyal.

In its new guise, The Nines, that charm has been amplified, its dining room made more comfortable and stylish giving it a modern Italian city centre trattoria mood. The big bay windows cast brightness across the room as far back as the kitchen so don’t anguish over a window table. Even on a grey day natural light penetrates every corner, bouncing off the caramels and woody browns covering the banquettes and floors.
