DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) — Revive Nutrition located on Union Street in downtown Danville looks to serve up a menu with colorful and delicious protein and energy drinks.
Wednesday was the grand opening and owner, Christine Eanes, said that this shop is the first of its kind to hit the River City.
She added she has a personal connection with these products; after trying one shake, she said she’s never felt better. It introduced her to a nutrition plan that helped her lose over 80 pounds.

Eanes is a nurse in Eden, North Carolina, but her daughter lives in Danville and is the one who convinced her to open up shop. Now, she hopes that others in the area can have access to healthier options for meals, snacks and energy drinks.
“My goal is to help people to be healthier, stronger, more energetic; live their lives now, and not have to take a pill to do it,” Eanes said.
Each shake is under 250 calories and has over 25 grams of protein, with delicious flavors like mocha, cookies and cream, fried ice cream and more – making it perfect for a high-protein breakfast or mid-day pick-me-up.
She also mentioned that the energy teas, another Revive staple, make great replacements for highly processed canned energy drinks that can make you jittery and crash. At Revive, the energy teas contain vitamins and naturally sourced caffeine that will keep you alert all day.
The prices for shakes range from $8 to $10 and energy teas from $10 to $12. The hours of operation for now are from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, but Eanes said those hours could change.
Eanes reiterated that the goal is not to just have people buying shakes every day, but for Danville residents to adopt a healthy lifestyle. That’s why she said folks can purchase their products in bulk online or at their location.
