The hitmaker has opened a pop-up Dubai Design District.

Rihanna is one of the entertainment industry’s ultimate multi-hyphens. Not only is she a successful singer and actor, but she is behind the make-up line, Fenty. The brand has opened a pop-up in Dubai, which is part of Etisalat MOTB and Dubai Shopping Festival. Running from 5 to 14 January at Dubai Design District, here’s how to check out the Fenty Beauty Drive In.

Etisalat MOTB is now in its 11th edition and brings together a range of one-of-a-kind experiences. This year, it includes experiential brand activations, hip entertainment and food stalls. Plus, there are open-air markets with items for men, women and children.

The Fenty Beauty Drive In is an innovative way to get your hands, lips and eyelids on plush products. Fenty is famous for its range of shades, which match different skin tones. The Fenty Beauty Drive In pop up includes expert make-up artists, and a dedicated zone for visitors to find their perfect shade. 

Rihanna hails from Saint Michael, Barbados. In 2004, she released her first hit single, Pon De Replay. Since then, she has released hit after hit, which includes Rude Boy, Umbrella, What’s My Name? and Work. She has sold more than 250 records worldwide, and won nine Grammy Awards and 13 American Music Awards.

In 2017, Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty, which derives its name from her surname. The original line started with 40 shades of foundation, and has made a name for itself for catering to a range of skin types. Today, it is reported to have a net worth of $2.8 billion. 

This is not Fenty’s first Dubai pop-up. In January 2021, Fenty Island took over the promenade outside Dubai Mall, inviting visitors to explore themed attractions and interactive experiences, each named after individual beauty products in Rihanna’s skincare line.
