This Thursday, Oct. 24, RISD Nutrition will host staff, parents and students for a meeting of the RISD Menu Advisory Committee. Stakeholders will receive nutrition information, taste menu items and provide feedback, according to a release.

The meeting will be held in the Mohawk Elementary Cafeteria from 4-5 p.m.

As The Advocate reported earlier this year, RISD Executive Director of Child Nutrition Alissa Gustof is currently pushing to improve district-wide food quality.

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by email [email protected] or call 469-593-0102.

Mohawk Elementary is located at 1500 Mimosa Dr.
