River Cities Tennis and Pickleball caps off October with awards and ‘Spooktacular’ pickleball Tourney

CLINTON – River Cities Tennis and Pickleball had a busy month in October with two of their young tennis players being recognized by the Iowa Tennis Association. 

Brothers Wyatt and Oliver Fuller both receiver awards from the Iowa USTA District. Oliver earned the ‘Emerging Young Male Tennis Player of the Year’ award while Wyatt earned the ‘Junior Sportsmanship Boys 10U’ award. 

“A coach couldn’t be prouder of these two tennis players, who are setting an example of righteousness in their sport for other to emulate. River Cities tennis is proud to be providing these young boys their tennis lessons. Their work ethic is amazin, and they hit a big topspin shot already. We hope to see even more from these two in the future,” Cindy Rasche said.

On Saturday River Cities Tennis and Pickleball capped off their October with a ‘Spooktacular’ pickleball Tournament that saw over 100 players participate in the all day tournament. 

It was a light hearted and fun social atmosphere all while being a competitive tournament with plenty of people dressing up in their Halloween costumes. 

River Cities Tennis and Pickleball holds pickleball lessons every Saturday morning at 8 a.m. Your first lesson is free and all equipment is provided.
