The Rockwall Art League has officially opened a call for entries for its 25th annual Juried Fine Art Show and Sale scheduled to take place Sept. 12–14.

Artists working in a variety of mediums – including oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing/digital art, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and mosaic – are invited to submit their work for consideration. Entries must be submitted online https://tinyurl.com/yc73acf3 by Aug. 4 and selected artists will be notified by Aug. 15.

The three-day exhibition – one of RAL’s signature events – celebrates contemporary art and offers up to $5,000 in cash prizes. The event will kick off with an artist reception on Sept. 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cavender Nissan, 1700 Interstate 30 Frontage Road.

Key event dates include:

– Sept. 11: Artwork drop-off from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

– Sept. 12: Exhibition open from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and artist reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

– Sept. 13: Exhibition hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a coffee bar from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

– Sept. 14: Exhibition open from noon to 4 p.m. with artist/buyer artwork pickup from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
