Roman Kemp Agrees with Lewis Capaldi on Glastonbury – ‘It Was Really Hard’

Roman Kemp, a Capital FM presenter, said it was painful to see Lewis Capaldi forget his lyrics during his Glastonbury show.

Lewis Capaldi had trouble remembering the words to a song he was singing at the Worthy Farm event.

But his friends and fans gathered around him, picked up the lyrics, and sang them back to the singer as loud as they could.

After the show, Lewis said it was “a s**t show,” but his best friend Kemp called him right away to tell him he did a good job.

In an interview with Metro UK, Roman said, “It was really hard to watch and really, really sad.”

Roman liked that Capaldi chose to leave, and he said, “I am proud of him. It is lovely seeing him up there, and it’s lovely seeing the crowd supporting him.

Lewis canceled all of his upcoming gigs after what happened, saying he is “still learning to adjust.”

Roman said that the time when the crowd sang the song when Lewis couldn’t was a great example of how people can work together.

Roman talked about what he said to Capaldi after he left the stage. He said that he encouraged his friend by telling him, “You were wonderful.”

When Capaldi told Roman that he thought he should take a break, Roman told him, “Look at the number of people out there; they are not going to forget you.”
