With the onset of the rainy season, PSI Julakatti has spearheaded a cleanup drive at the police station, using a tractor to remove garbage and weeds that have accumulated around the plants. The land is being prepared, and the plants are being watered and fertilized. Additionally, a piping system has been installed to ensure that the plants receive adequate water. These actions have been well-received by the public, who have expressed their happiness and support for his environmental initiatives.

The Ron Police Station, situated on a four-acre plot, boasts a variety of plants, including coconut, neem, mango, alari, sandalwood, banyan, hebbevu, and nirala. This lush greenery has turned the police station into an oasis, even during the harsh summer months.

In front of the station, a small garden has been created, attracting attention due to PSI Julakatti’s dedication and the cooperation of the station staff. Seating has been arranged under the trees for the public visiting the station for various legal matters, providing them with much-needed shade during the hot summer. Additionally, a water system has been set up for birds, ensuring they have access to water during the summer months.

Environmental Scientist Manjunath Nayaka praised PSI Julakatti’s commitment to environmental protection, stating, “PSI’s concern for environmental protection is commendable. Everyone should be involved in the conservation of animals and birds in order to save the environment.”
