Rosie O’Donnell Urges Drew Barrymore Very Hard Not to Bring Back Her Daytime Talk Show

Rosie O’Donnell recently told Drew Barrymore that she shouldn’t record her talk show while the writers’ strike is still going on.

On Saturday, Rosie went on Instagram and posted a picture of an essay by Elizabeth Grey. In the essay, Elizabeth talked about how she felt about Drew starting to make her show.

From Elizabeth’s article, Rosie chose three pieces of advice for Drew.

“Stop taping the show. Stop asking audiences to cross the picket line. Then ask someone to help you craft three declarative sentences.”

Rosie said, “They should follow along these lines: I made an error. I apologise to the WGA for disrespecting the work of professional writers. I apologise to all union members who are withstanding real hardship as I live a life of luxury.”

Rosie wrote “advice 4 @drewbarrymore” with a heart emoji in the description.

Rosie also joined other people in the industry to criticize Drew for shooting the new season of The Drew Barrymore Show while the show’s writers were on strike.

In May, the star of “Never Been Kissed” showed her support for the writers by turning down the job of hosting the MTV Movie and TV Awards.

Drew’s news, on the other hand, meant that she couldn’t host the National Book Foundation this year.

Drew also tried to explain why she decided to start making her show again in a video that she posted to her Instagram but has since been taken down.
