Rotten Tomatoes Winner ‘A Killer Paradox’ Sweeps the Weekly Charts

A Killer Paradox, a non-English TV series, topped Netflix’s weekly ranking.

According to The Korea Times, the worldwide streaming services verified on Wednesday that the Korean original series has taken the top spot in the charts.

The crime thriller series garnered 5.5 million views between February 12 and 18.

The show, which premiered on February 9, also ranked high on 43 of the top ten regional television charts in Korea, Canada, Australia, France, Hong Kong, and Canada.

In addition, A Killer Paradox has received a perfect rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with a deluge of new reviews.

David Opie, who writes for Radio Times, stated, “Tighter focus and keener sense of the message behind this conceit could have elevated the series more, but states that there’s still tons of fun to be had when it comes to Killer’s sheer ambition, not to mention the wish fulfilment of it all.”

The eight-episode drama revolves around three people, including Choi Woo-Shik, who plays the student-turned-vigilante Lee Tang.

Along with Tang, the plot revolves around a tenacious investigator, Jang Nan-gam, played by Son Suk-ku from My Liberation Notes, and a mystery ex-detective-turned-killer, Song Chon, played by Lee Hee-Joon of Band Land Hunters.

The series, adapted from Kkomabi’s Naver webtoon of the same name, followed Jang and Song on Lee’s trail for their own reasons.

The Parasite star starred in the action detective fiction film, which was shot in Daejeon, South Korea, alongside Jo Seok-hyeon, Jung Yi-seo, and Hyun Bong-sik.
