Lady Lions fall short
PITTSBURGH — Altoona fell behind 13-7 in the first quarter en route to a 48-46 loss at North Allegheny.
The Lady Lions, down 22-19 at the break, got 17 points from Lanie Wilt. Teammate Melana Eyer added 13 points.
Altoona continues play Saturday at 11 a.m. back at North Allegheny High School against Greensburg Central Catholic.
